Clear Water

A few days back, we figured we finally wanted to tell our personal friends, families and facebook friends about this website. Yes, there are two types of friends nowadays. 

Personal friends count is approximately 5; Facebook friends count is 300+. 

We received a good number of cheers and a number of 'who cares' as well. And we actually expected that result knowing our circles.

Let's just say not everybody understands the need to blog, which is true! Blogging is not necessary - just like facebook, instagram, twitter, etc. are not necessary. But now that we did test the waters, we found that our readers and fellow writers have been our instant supporters throughout the year. They had good intentions and they continue to encourage not only us but any other writer. Reaching out and socializing with people we never even knew we'd find was necessary afterall.

All the leaves are falling here in Seattle. They come in yellow, red, and sometimes green. And though the skies are sometimes grey nowadays, we could still breathe the healthy life we longed for. It seriously feels like we're living in a fantasy land. We know there are more wonderful places around the world that we can't wait to explore, but this, is a blessing. And everyday reminds us that we did something right which is moving here from LA.

Black Out

Today we woke up and it was all black. Lucky we have the best flashlight! It worries us especially with the business going on. How would you keep up with writing to the readers? Is Starbucks or any place with wifi the only solution? We don't mind knowing what else.

Keeping Safe

Lately, we've been planning on so many things and part of what we're deciding on is if we should get weapons for protection. 

If you know about Seattle Washington, it's probably the last city to worry about. Crime rate here is really low and a lot of home owners apparently leave their doors open because trust isn't an issue in the neighborhood. There are more affable people here than there are snobs and hitching rides with strangers seem to be the norm around here. 

Weapons for protection? Maybe because we'll just never know and we believe in getting yourselves ready for the unknown.

We never knew how important our cheezeeness were until we started receiving emails from you readers wondering what's up and why we take so long to post again, so we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us and always encouraging us to post. So far we are extremely excited for our small business stepping up another level very very soon. Yes, being busy is actually our real excuse, but we also want you to know that you're the reason we come up with better ideas. The friendships and connections we've built from starting this website have taken us to where we are now and it has become a passion. We plan to keep this incredible little posting hobby we found, we plan to keep you.

Speaks Louder Than

Everybody meet Joss and Christoff (Stoffel) from Pretoria, South Africa! - The metal-heads who love each other to bits!

HER: I'm very quiet and shy. I love listening to music and playing games. I've always been a little bit of a loner and never really had someone to trust and who is always there for me until I met him.
HIM: I hate talking about myself, I'm an introvert so I've never been good at these things.. I play drums and guitar and am in a thrash / death metal band - music is my life. I also love gaming in my free time.
WHERE THEY MET:We actually met at our work, at a music store. She works over weekends and some weekdays while he works everyday and is in charge of the admin and banking.We were always so awkward around each other in the beginning but one day, we started talking in the office. Since that day we were hanging out almost every night and quickly became inseparable...It feels like we've known each other forever.
WHAT THEY DO:
We love just chilling and talking about anything and everything! And playing PS3 together (it's like our "bonding time"). We also like going to gigs.
HOW THEY ROCK & ROLL: Because we were already so close before we started dating, we're very playful and silly together, like best friends. We trust each other completely and we're very open with each other. We can talk about anything and even if we don't always agree on things, we don't judge each other. We have loads in common but not too much so that we get bored of each other, and not too different so we have nothing to talk about. =]

This has been one of our favorite interview so far and we don't know how else special to make this post. 

But guys, meet Katherine and Brandon from London!

How/Where did you guys meet?

Her: Work! The thing we wish we didn't have to do! He's the team leader of the company that owns where I work, one day he had to ask me some questions for Health and Safety, OH MY GOD, I fell in love! He was so cute! And his accent...wah, I thought 'this guy is never going to like me, GET OVER YOURSELF'. Then one day, he started flirting with me, even asked 'is this okay?' bless him! I must have been bright pink. This was August 2010. He then went 'so you going to take me out?' and winked. I'm such a creep though, you don't even realise how much this wink made my day. I guess it just went on from there!

Him: at work in the summer of 2010. I remember chatting her up, she made me nervous! I was like 'damn, she's hot'. Was weird though, because I wasn't looking for a relationship at the time, but then I met Katherine and things just went where they needed to go.

What do you guys love to do?

Her: the naughty! I'm sorry, but it's my favourite thing, so why can't a girl indulge?! I love going out to restaurants, feeling like a married couple (I like that idea) HE complains, because I fill up on the bread/starters then he ends up paying for half eaten over-priced main! I'd say he loves watching films, don't you? Although I'm apparently 'bad at watching films'

Him: this is serious though, you need to learn to watch films. It's so frustrating! But I guess that's what the guys are for! You never finish your food! But I love just being together and snuggling watching films

Her: Ha, snuggling.

Him: We're going to travel together this year hopefully, take some pictures because Katherine is a newly addicted Scrapbooker!

Any cool cheese to give for the serious couples? 

Him: I don't know really. We're very strong as a couple which works. Katherine's feisty! I picked a high maintenance one! But I think it's because we're not scared to tell eachother how we feel. Even if we do scream at eachother, we always make up within seconds. I think you know when things are right and how they're meant to be. I can't imagine my life without her!

Her: haha aww! Definitely, I know I can always shout my feelings or cry them out and he'll still put his arms around me and tell me everything's going to be okay. We're in love and we're best friends. That's what makes our relationship work!

"We also have a hamster together! Must make it work for the kid, you know.." - best line ever, guys.

New Home Sweet Home

Hi everyone! It's nice and cold where we are. We will need a lot of trips around this new city, we'll need to familiarize ourselves with the streets and short cuts for sure. Here's a little clip of our trip to the Northwest. From Los Angeles California to Seattle Washington. All the love!

Next Chapter of Togetherness

Hello lovers! As mentioned before, we are moving far away from the overly crowded Los Angeles Cali. We've started the adventure yesterday and have been on a road trip for two days now heading towards the north. It would've been a 24-hour trip, but we decided to stop at some good spots to rest before we settle into our new home. It was her first snow encounter and so far, this 8-hour drive is the longest drive ever for him.

Let the Love Bugs Bite

Meet Rich and Becky from Hampshire, England! These two met when they were still in college and Rich was an IT support guy in the computer suite. Becky only spoke to him a couple of times when she had problems with the computer and he certainly swept her off her feet! They lost touch. But it was two years later when they bumped into each other at a rock club that they got to know each other well. :) That was almost 4 years ago now and they've been an item ever since.

They say they don't do much really. They both work hard during the week and tend to chill out at home and watch TV. Sometimes they would go shopping and Rich carries her bags.

"We live a fun-packed life! What makes us different is that we're losers! We are seriously massive geeks! Rich loves computers and sci fi whereas I'm a massive Harry Potter nerd. We don't share the same passions but we love each other and understand each other perfectly. We talk things through..."- Becky and Rich ♥

Becky is a primary school teacher and Rich is an IT support technician in a boarding school. They've been engaged for 3 years now and are getting married in 16 months time!
